5.4 dupr player here. I tried this paddle during a midnight madness tournament and immediately switched to it and haven't looked back. Better control and sweet spot than any paddle I've used. It's not super 'poppy' (try the 14mm if you like a poppy paddle), but it accepts the power you give it. This paddle doesn't have the roughest carbon surface... a lot of its spin comes from the incredible dwell time. This feature gives you really good feel, control and spin.
